About The Role

•••••••• is seeking a Blockchain Software Engineer to help design, develop, and maintain software for blockchain-based products and services. In this role, you will work across application and blockchain layers, turning product requirements into dependable technical solutions. You will collaborate with engineers, product partners, and other stakeholders to deliver features, improve existing systems, and identify opportunities to strengthen performance, security, and usability.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with an interest in decentralized technologies. You should be comfortable working through ambiguity, explaining technical decisions, and balancing delivery needs with sound engineering practices. The specific technologies used may vary by project; experience with relevant blockchain platforms, programming languages, and development tools will help you contribute effectively.

Qualifications

Candidates should have professional experience developing and maintaining production software, along with proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Python, Java, or Rust. Experience with blockchain platforms, smart contracts, decentralized applications, wallets, or blockchain integrations is preferred. Familiarity with APIs, databases, distributed systems, and cloud-based development environments is also valuable.

You should understand core software engineering practices, including version control, code review, automated testing, debugging, and documentation. Knowledge of security principles and common risks in distributed or blockchain systems is an advantage. Strong written and verbal communication skills are important, as is the ability to work constructively with colleagues across different disciplines. Equivalent practical experience is welcome in place of a specific educational credential.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, and maintain software components that support blockchain-enabled products. Build and integrate APIs and services that connect applications with blockchain networks and related systems. Where applicable, develop, review, or integrate smart contracts, ensuring that requirements, testing, and security considerations are addressed before release.

Collaborate with product and engineering colleagues to clarify requirements, estimate work, and deliver maintainable solutions. Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to decisions about system reliability, scalability, and performance. Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and implement improvements. Write clear documentation, contribute to code reviews, and share knowledge with the team. Stay informed about relevant developments in blockchain technology and assess their practical value to the company’s products.
