ha vJQukz5X3 is looking for a hands-on Forward-Deployed Software Engineer to transform our operations through AI, software development, and automation. Forward-deployed means you don't sit in a back office waiting for tickets. You'll work side by side with our dispatch, compliance, finance, and recruiting teams, find what slows them down, and build the tools they use every day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents that automate repetitive business processes

• Build AI-powered tools that process emails, messages, documents, and operational data

• Create automated systems that flag shipment delays, missing information, and expiring documents

• Develop internal dashboards where employees review and approve AI-generated actions

• Integrate AI automation with internal platforms, messaging systems, and transportation management software (TMS)

• Build and maintain front-end apps, back-end services, APIs, and databases

• Test, troubleshoot, and improve software for reliability and performance

• Track the time and resources saved through automation

• Collaborate with senior engineers on architecture and code reviews

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT

• Not a heads-down coding job behind a desk. As a forward-deployed engineer, you'll spend real time with our operations teams

• Not a role where projects never see the light of day. What you build gets used every day

• Not remote. This is an on-site position at our San Antonio HQ

YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS

• 30 days: Learn our operations, shadow departments, and find AI automation opportunities

• 60 days: Build and start deploying your first AI-powered workflow with guidance from experienced engineers

• 90 days: Deliver a working automation solution, show measurable improvements, and help set future priorities

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience

• Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript

• Software experience through personal projects, internships,
