Our challenge

We are seeking an experienced Advanced JavaScript Developer with strong expertise in React.js to build scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive web applications using React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Build reusable and maintainable UI components.

• Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.

• Manage application state using Redux, Context API, or similar tools.

• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions.

• Troubleshoot issues and mentor junior developers when required

Requirements:

• Strong professional JavaScript development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and ES6+.

• Proficiency in React Hooks, functional components, state management, and responsive design.

• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, REST APIs, Git, and modern build tools such as Vite or Webpack.

• Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar testing tools.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, GraphQL, and Node.js.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud platforms, accessibility standards, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
