About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join our Integration team. This team owns a broad set of critical integrations across the product, including KYC providers, geolocation services, payment methods, and other external systems vital to product operation and user experience. As a Senior Python Engineer, you will take full ownership of backend features and improvements from design through implementation, deployment, and production support.

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Python and Django, build and maintain integrations with external systems, and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to scope and deliver new integrations. Your role also includes implementing observability across integration flows, writing unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability, and supporting production issues while participating in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of development experience with Python as the primary language

• Strong experience in API and system integrations

• Proven experience integrating third-party APIs, with deep understanding of webhooks, callbacks, idempotency, and failure handling

• Experience with payments and KYC integrations is a strong plus

• Familiarity with observability tools for monitoring and troubleshooting production integrations

• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and concurrency

• Experience in architecture design of highly loaded and scalable solutions

• Comprehensive understanding of the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and production monitoring

• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations

• Nice to have: Experience in early-stage startups and fast-paced engineering environments

• Nice to have: Experience writing automated tests, measuring test coverage, and defining test automation strategies

• Nice to have: Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana

• Nice to have: Experience in sports or betting industries

Responsibilities

• Support production issues and participate in on-call rotations
