About the Opportunity:

The SCRUM MASTER will support the Professional Services team by coaching up to three Scrum teams to improve delivery predictability and team collaboration. This role is key to facilitating Agile processes, removing impediments, and ensuring clear communication on progress and risks, thereby enabling teams to deliver value effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Coach one to three Scrum teams to foster collaboration and accountability.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily scrums, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Support backlog refinement with Product Owners and teams.

• Coordinate sprint schedules, capacity, deliverables, and milestones.

• Maintain Scrum tools and metrics such as Scrum boards, velocity, and burndown charts.

• Track sprint progress and communicate status to management and stakeholders.

• Identify and help remove impediments and surface delivery risks.

• Manage commitment risks and escalate issues as needed.

• Partner with Product Owners and stay updated on Scrum practices and trends.

Requirements:

• Recommended 1+ years experience as a Scrum Master or similar Agile role.

• Strong knowledge of Agile principles and Scrum framework.

• Ability to coach teams, remove impediments, and promote continuous improvement.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Organizational skills, analytical thinking, and ability to manage priorities.

• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Scrum software development lifecycle.

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification or willingness to obtain within one year.

• Experience with policy administration software or insurance technology is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
