Founded in 2001, K2ba 7v is Long Island’s largest youth soccer academy, with more than 90

teams training out of the FGXT UsCyt & Cohen Sports Complex in Central Islip. We offer a full

pathway for players: Bright Futures (ages 2–8), Junior W2DtjAU, and ECNL W2DtjAU teams

through age 18, plus a WPSL team and the Long Island Slammers. With five turf fields and an

indoor dome, we’re building the next generation of Long Island soccer, and we’d love for you to

be part of it.

The Role

You will work with the Director of Marketing to create the content that tells the 6UdU story and

to run our social platforms day to day. This is a making role. You shoot, you edit, you design,

you post.

What you will do:

• Shoot and edit short form video and photos at trainings, games, and events, and design the

graphics that go with them, including matchday graphics, announcements, and templates

• Own daily posting and scheduling across Instagram, TikTok, and our other platforms

• Run recurring series, including Player of the Week, Team of the Week, college commitments,

and signing days

• Cover marquee events, including showcases, signing days, festivals, and tournaments

• Work with coaches and directors to gather schedules, results, and player stories

• Some evening and weekend coverage is part of the job, because that is when soccer happens

What we are looking for

• Real shooting, editing, and design skill, with tools such as Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, or

Canva. A portfolio or links to your work are required to apply

• Fluency in short form video and what performs on Reels and TikTok right now

• Experience running a brand or team account day to day, not only creating content

• Organized and reliable against deadlines

• Based within reach of Central Islip and Long Island venues

• Soccer knowledge is a plus, and love of the youth game is a plus plus
