About The Role

We are seeking a talented Motion Designer to join our dynamic growth team. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the visual storytelling of our products from concept to final execution. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create compelling motion graphics and videos that communicate our product stories effectively and captivate our audience. Your work will help establish and maintain a high standard of motion design that reflects Instant's identity as an innovator in AI marketing. This position requires a blend of creativity, technical skill, and strategic thinking to develop user-centric motion design systems that scale across mobile and web platforms. As a Motion Designer, you will contribute directly to product launches and marketing initiatives, ensuring all creative assets are polished, on-brand, and impactful.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of motion design experience in a product-focused environment

• Self-directed and solution-oriented with the ability to work autonomously

• Thrives in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous work environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to use motion design to narrate user experiences based on behaviors, needs, and emotions

• Exceptional process thinker and adept problem solver

• Deep mastery of foundational animation principles

• Proficiency in After Effects and Figma

• Creative thinker with the ability to establish and execute on vision for team initiatives

• Willingness to challenge the status quo, push innovation, and inspire team collaboration

• Portfolio or demo reel showcasing past projects and motion design expertise (mandatory for application)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a user-centric Motion Design System scalable across mobile and web products

• Create high-quality product launch videos that effectively communicate product value

• Collaborate with design teams to animate assets for embedding into product experiences, websites, and marketing channels

• Conduct quality assurance to ensure all designs and creative assets are polished, consistent with brand guidelines, and ready for implementation or final delivery

• Execute projects efficiently to deliver impactful products aligned with business objectives and customer needs

• Contribute to short and long-term strategic design direction and uphold high visual standards

• Work closely with cross-functional team members to align motion design with overall product and marketing goals

• Maintain an owner’s mentality by taking pride in your work and actively contributing to team success
