Sr Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Engineer — Charlotte, NC

vJ9’C client is a leader in healthcare technology looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer on a full-time, direct hire basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute to the architecture, design, planning, and implementation of the cloud infrastructure of modern web applications.

• Follow company security protocols to ensure system and data security.

• Manage and improve cloud infrastructure functionality, performance, reliability, and scalability; stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new technologies when applicable.

• Create, troubleshoot, and monitor cloud environments to meet high availability and uptime SLA.

• Automate software deployments, configuration, and upkeep.

• Responsible for deploying builds to multiple environments.

• Plan, prioritize, and estimate incoming work; collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architectural decisions with project goals.

• Work with the technology stack to deliver efficient and reliable applications.

• Assist in mentoring and providing guidance to junior team members.

• Work with technical support to provide speedy resolution for escalated support tickets.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

• Minimum of 8 years managing cloud environments, with at least 4 years of experience with Google cloud environments.

• Minimum of 5 years of infrastructure experience (e.g., Cloud Run, Terraform, Cloud Flare, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, etc.)

• Expert in Linux server management and controls

• Prior DevOps experience (e.g., creating builds, deployments, CI / CD, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of security protocols / management and data integrity

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and time management skills with strong organizational and analytical problem-solving abilities; ability to work effectively in both independent and fast-paced, team-based environments
