Product Manager — Dallas, TX

About The Role

The role owns the strategy, roadmap, and execution for a core product line — taking features from discovery through launch and driving measurable adoption across a technical user base.

This position sits at the intersection of engineering, design, and go-to-market: translating business objectives into prioritized technical roadmaps while communicating tradeoffs, timelines, and progress to executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product roadmap, balancing new feature development, technical debt, and customer-driven initiatives against quarterly OKRs

• Write clear product requirement documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering teams can execute against with minimal ambiguity

• Conduct customer discovery interviews and analyze product analytics (Amplitude, Mixpanel) to validate hypotheses before committing engineering resources

• Partner with engineering leads to scope, estimate, and sequence work across sprints; unblock teams by making timely prioritization decisions

• Drive cross-functional launches with marketing, sales, and customer success — owning positioning, launch plans, and enablement collateral

• Track and report on core product metrics: activation, retention, feature adoption, and revenue impact; present findings and recommendations to leadership

• Manage stakeholder communication across the organization, escalating risks early and negotiating scope tradeoffs when timelines are at stake

What We Are Looking For

• 3–8 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years working directly with engineering teams on technical products (APIs, platforms, data infrastructure, or developer tools)

• Proven ability to write precise, well-structured PRDs and translate ambiguous business problems into concrete, shippable requirements

• Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent) and SQL for self-serve data analysis

• Strong understanding of agile development practices: sprint planning, backlog grooming, and working within Jira or Linear

• Demonstrated track record of launching products or major features end-to-end and iterating based on measurable outcomes

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (CS, engineering) or equivalent practical experience

• Bonus: experience at a venture-backed or high-growth startup; familiarity with API-first products, B2B SaaS pricing models, or design partner programs; technical background as an engineer before transitioning to product
