Senior Software Development Engineer in Test — United States

About the Opportunity:

The SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER IN TEST role is aimed at enhancing quality engineering processes and supporting the development of platform capabilities. This position is responsible for identifying software defects and ensuring alignment between specifications and system behavior, contributing to the delivery of reliable software that meets user expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Build regression automation scripts supporting application functionality

• Manually test software to validate accuracy against defined criteria

• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance, and other tests to verify software behavior

• Document feature behavior in detail

• Record test pass/fail conditions and correlate failures with bugs

• Identify and escalate risks to product or process quality

• Collaborate with product teams to ensure quality throughout development and release cycles

• Work with customer-facing teams to integrate user feedback into testing strategies

• Participate in refinement and effort estimation for planning

• Use Github to manage automation repositories and run scripts

• Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in software quality assurance

• Minimum 5 years experience in automated testing

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Holistic quality mindset

• Experience with programming languages such as Javascript, Typescript, Gherkin, SQL, Ruby/Rails

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• $135,000—$165,000 USD
