About the Role

We are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to design, train and deploy vision models that solve real business problems, from image and video understanding to document and object recognition. You will work end to end, from data and experimentation to scalable production deployment on the cloud.

Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train and evaluate computer vision models for detection, segmentation, classification, OCR and tracking.

• Build and curate image and video datasets, including labeling strategy, augmentation and quality checks.

• Fine-tune and apply modern architectures, including CNNs, vision transformers and multimodal vision-language models.

• Optimize models for accuracy, latency and cost using quantization, pruning and GPU/edge inference tooling.

• Deploy and monitor models in production using MLOps best practices on AWS or similar cloud platforms.

• Collaborate with product, data and platform teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Document experiments, share findings and mentor junior engineers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI/ML or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience building computer vision systems.

• Strong Python skills and proficiency with PyTorch or TensorFlow.

• Experience with OpenCV and frameworks such as Detectron2, YOLO, MMDetection or Hugging Face.

• Solid grounding in deep learning, image processing and model evaluation.

• Experience deploying models to production using Docker and a major cloud provider.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with vision-language or generative models, and video analytics.

• Familiarity with AWS services (SageMaker, EC2, S3, Lambda) and an AWS certification.

• Experience with ONNX, TensorRT, OpenVINO or edge deployment.

• Knowledge of MLOps tooling such as MLflow, Kubeflow or CI/CD for ML.
