Responsible for developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions that provide meaningful insights into business performance. This role focuses on creating Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models using large and diverse datasets from multiple sources. The ideal candidate has strong Power BI and SQL skills, experience with data management and validation, and the ability to translate business needs into accurate, actionable reporting for stakeholders.

This role focuses on business intelligence report creation and data source management, not data visualization. The primary emphasis is on managing, integrating, validating, and maintaining large datasets from multiple sources to support accurate and reliable business reporting. Strong proficiency in data source management, SQL, and Power BI is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs), business goals, and operational performance.

• Extract, combine, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to create accurate, meaningful, and concise reporting.

• Build and maintain Power BI data models and dataflows to support consistent reporting and serve as reliable data sources.

• Write and optimize SQL queries, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations to support data analysis and reporting.

• Work with business leaders and departments to understand reporting requirements and translate business needs into effective BI solutions.

• Perform data testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency. Document testing results and resolve data discrepancies.

• Monitor and improve report and dashboard performance, including data retrieval and visual rendering.

• Maintain documentation for data models, reporting processes, and technical specifications.

• Communicate project progress, reporting updates, and findings to stakeholders. Provide guidance and support to report users as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics, or a related role.

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, Power Query, and DAX.

• Proficiency in SQL and experience querying, managing, and analyzing large datasets.

• Experience working with multiple data sources, data integration, and ETL processes.

• Knowledge of data validation, testing, troubleshooting, and data quality practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate technical information and reporting results to non-technical stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and its data and analytics capabilities.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure SQL Database or Snowflake.

• Experience with Power BI dataflows and automated reporting processes.

• Familiarity with other BI tools such as Tableau.

• Experience working in an Agile environment.
