About The Role

Jobrapido is seeking a Frontend Developer to help build and maintain modern, user-friendly web applications. This is a full-time, fully remote position open to candidates located anywhere in the United States. The role is suited to junior- to mid-level developers with a foundation in React and JavaScript who are ready to contribute, strengthen their technical skills, and grow with a collaborative team.

You will work on responsive interfaces and reusable components, helping turn product and design requirements into reliable frontend functionality. You will also work with APIs, investigate issues, and contribute to improvements in application quality and performance. We welcome candidates from a range of professional backgrounds. Whether your experience comes from previous roles, independent projects, or other hands-on learning, we encourage you to apply if you enjoy frontend development and building useful user experiences.

Qualifications

Applicants should have familiarity with React and JavaScript, along with an understanding of HTML and CSS. Basic experience working with APIs and familiarity with Git are expected. You should be able to communicate clearly, approach problems thoughtfully, and collaborate with teammates across development, design, and other functions.

We are looking for someone who is curious, receptive to feedback, and motivated to learn. You do not need to meet every preferred qualification to be considered. Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, testing frameworks, or Agile teams is helpful but not required. Personal projects, coursework, and a GitHub portfolio can help demonstrate your skills, but they are not prerequisites for applying.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and improve responsive web applications using React and JavaScript. Create clean, reusable UI components that support consistent experiences across the product. Integrate frontend features with APIs and help ensure data is presented clearly and reliably. Collaborate with developers, designers, and other team members to understand requirements, discuss implementation options, and deliver practical solutions.

Debug frontend issues, investigate their causes, and contribute to improvements in application performance and usability. Participate in code reviews by sharing constructive feedback and learning from the approaches of others. Contribute ideas, communicate progress and questions, and take part in team discussions about implementation and quality. Continue building your technical knowledge and apply what you learn to day-to-day development work.
