Creative Production / Web Content Manager — South Elgin, IL

Job Description

Our client is seeking a full-time onsite Creative Production / Web Content Manager to join their team. Our client is a leader in their specific specialty products space with both brick and mortar shops and online.

Location: South Elgin – Onsite. Maybe some flex to hybrid.

Position Overview

This person will oversee the entire product content and photography workflow, ensuring products are accurately represented online and consistently aligned with brand standards. Ensuing product descriptions are up to date and within brand voice and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the photographer’s workload and output.

• Own quality control for all product imagery, descriptions, and content.

• Ensure color accuracy between online product images and real-life products. This is a critical function of the role.

• Maintain consistency across all product listings, imagery, and content.

• Oversee product categorization and e-commerce content management.

• QA all product copy and copy editing.

• Ensure products are presented consistently and on-brand across the website.

• Manage content organization and workflow processes.

• Coordinate with a UK-based team member responsible for technical product specifications.

• Maintain structured file management processes and asset organization.

Systems & Tools

• Shopify

• Lightroom (Not needed, but helps)

• Structured folder management system organized by SKU/product name (No DAM)

• Microsoft Suite

Ideal Candidate

• Self-starter who can operate independently.

• Comfortable working in a smaller company environment (approximately 115 employees).

• 1 direct report – the Photographer.

• Strong attention to detail and process management.

• Experience managing creative production, e-commerce content, and quality assurance initiatives.

• Ability to establish and maintain efficient workflows.
