About This Role
Arnold & Porter is an international law firm with offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia. The firm delivers sophisticated regulatory, litigation, and transactional services to clients across a broad range of industries, including more than half of the Fortune 100.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Technology Coordinator to support the firm’s client relationship management (CRM) platform and related marketing technology systems. This role combines CRM administration, data quality management, user support, and hands-on assistance with email marketing, events, reporting, and research.
Working closely with Marketing, ARC Support, attorneys, Information Technology, and other firm personnel, the Coordinator helps maintain reliable data and ensures users can effectively use the firm’s marketing technology tools. This is an opportunity for an organized, service-focused professional who enjoys technology, solving problems, and improving processes.
This role may be located in the Washington, DC office working a hybrid schedule or fully-virtual remote from a firm’s approved U.S. state.
Applicants should submit a cover letter and resume for consideration.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day CRM support, respond to user inquiries, and monitor shared mailboxes and support queues to resolve or route requests.
• Maintain accurate contact, company, relationship, and activity data through routine audits, updates, and data quality initiatives.
• Support the preparation, testing, and distribution of email marketing communications, including advisories, announcements, newsletters, and event invitations. Review content, links, recipient lists, and formatting for accuracy.
• Manage subscriptions and communication preferences, process profile updates, and investigate email delivery issues.
• Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, access requests, and system updates.
• Generate reports and contact, event, and engagement lists to support marketing and business development activities.
• Conduct research and gather data for business development, events, editorial, and alumni initiatives.
• Develop and maintain CRM training materials, user guides, and other resources that encourage consistent system use and best practices.
• Help test and implement CRM enhancements, data governance practices, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Information Technology and external vendors to troubleshoot system issues.
• Support special projects and other departmental needs as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with marketing technology, CRM systems, and email marketing platforms preferred; professional services experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with data quality management concepts and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, with a helpful, service-oriented approach.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and balance daily responsibilities with longer-term projects.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, take initiative, and follow assignments through to completion.
• Sound judgment and the ability to maintain confidential information.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
