We're a stealth health tech company building at the intersection of at and behavioral health. We're already live with design partners, so you'll work with real operations rather than hypotheticals. You'll work directly with operational and engineering leadership and help shape the product at an early stage.
You'll design for real users every week, shape how features work alongside the people who use them, and help set the design bar for a small team.
Why Join Us
• Work with a proven team. You'll work directly with the founders who are Columbia University and UCLA alumni with experience across technology, venture capital, and healthcare. Advisors include multiple VC and PE backed founders, seasoned healthcare executives, and industry leaders.
• Strategic backing. We've closed a significant pre-seed round, and more than 15 of our investors are healthcare operators: the same people we're building for.
What You'll Do
• Own the user experience end to end: research, workflow mapping, information architecture, and interaction design, through to shipped features.
• Turn complex operational workflows into interfaces and flows that feel simple for busy clinicians and operators.
• Sit with the people who use the product: run interviews, shadow real workflows, test with users, and bring what you learn back into the design.
• Prototype fast with at tools: build clickable, working prototypes, often in code, and put them in front of users in days, not weeks. Help the team use these tools well.
• Design HP-wTHNmbZ experiences built on Claude: how people review at output, correct it, trust it, and stay in control.
• Work closely with engineers through implementation: write clear specs, review builds, and sweat the details until it ships right.
• Shape a simple, consistent component library with engineering, built on our React/TypeScript front end.
• Design with privacy in mind: thoughtful handling of health information, role-based views, and clear permission states.
• Make accessibility and usability standard in every feature.
What We're Looking For
• 4+ years of professional UX or product design experience, shipping web applications used by real customers.
• A portfolio that shows your process, not just final screens: how you framed the problem, what you learned from users, what you tried, and why you landed where you did.
• Strong UX fundamentals: user research, usability testing, workflow and journey mapping, information architecture, and interaction design.
• A track record on complex, data-dense, workflow-heavy B2B or SaaS products.
• Hands-on experience prototyping with at tools (for example Claude, v0, Lovable, or Cursor) and getting working prototypes in front of users quickly.
• Clean, clear visual design. Polish matters, but clarity matters more.
• Comfort working closely with engineers and an understanding of how web front ends are built.
• Product sense: you ask why a feature matters and how people will use it.
• Clear written communication.
Care and discretion in handling sensitive health information.
Nice to Have
• Healthcare or HIPAA experience, especially behavioral health.
• Experience designing at or LLM-powered product features.
• Front-end skills (HTML/CSS, React/TypeScript).
• Figma proficiency for detailed specs when they're needed.
• Early-stage startup experience, or being the first designer on a team.
• Experience designing for multiple user roles and permission levels in one product.
• Experience with mobile or tablet design for field-based users.
