aQe YXSgu & NnEssxxmzV, known as The Texas Hammer and El Martillo Tejano, is a Texas personal injury law firm serving clients in English and Spanish. We are building an in-house video team to create content that shares our work, highlights our community involvement, and connects with audiences across Texas.
About the Role
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented video editor to work alongside our in-house videographer. You will turn raw footage into engaging social media content, polished YouTube videos, event recaps, and firm marketing videos while maintaining brand consistency and meeting production deadlines.
Responsibilities
Edit vertical videos for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts using strong openings, captions, motion graphics, and effective pacing.
Edit long-form YouTube videos, attorney profiles, client testimonials, Hammer Help event recaps, and community and charitable stories.
Create English and Spanish versions of content, including subtitles and on-screen text.
Color correct footage, clean and mix audio, and incorporate music, graphics, and branded templates.
Manage the media library, project files, archives, and file naming conventions in coordination with the videographer.
Monitor content trends and platform performance and recommend formats that improve reach and engagement.
Route content through the firm's review process for brand standards and Texas attorney advertising compliance, and complete revisions promptly.
Qualifications
At least 3 years of professional video editing experience, supported by a strong portfolio of social media and long-form work.
Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Strong storytelling, timing, pacing, and sense of humor, with the ability to make personality-driven content feel natural.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet same-day or next-day deadlines.
Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive client footage.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred.
Experience with DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, and Photoshop is a plus.
Familiarity with AI-assisted editing, captioning, and audio tools is a plus.
