Role Description

We are looking for a smart, proactive, and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to support technical projects and coordinate communication between customers and engineering teams.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation, excellent Korean communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex business and technical environments with professionalism and confidence.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working with cross-functional teams, understanding technical issues, organizing project activities, and communicating effectively with both customers and engineers.

This position requires a strong sense of ownership, sound judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage challenging stakeholder interactions in a professional manner.

The Technical Project Manager will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery for automotive software and infotainment solutions, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing timelines, scope, and resources. Daily responsibilities include gathering and translating technical and business requirements, preparing project documentation, facilitating meetings, and ensuring clear communication between Korean and English-speaking teams.

Required Capabilities

Project Management & Coordination

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities and track project milestones, deliverables, and action items.

• Facilitate communication between customer stakeholders, project teams, and engineering resources.

• Prepare meeting agendas, meeting minutes, project status reports, and follow-up action plans.

• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively escalate issues.

Technical Communication & System Analysis

• Understand software development processes, system architecture, APIs, and technical requirements.

• Gather, analyze, and document customer requirements and translate them into actionable tasks for engineering teams.

• Work with engineers to investigate technical issues and track resolutions.

• Make technical documentation, issue reports, and project deliverables.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Maintain professional and effective communication with customer stakeholders.

• Manage challenging conversations and competing priorities with confidence and sound judgment.

• Demonstrate strong situational awareness and the ability to anticipate stakeholder needs.

• Build trust through responsiveness, reliability, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Strong project and program management skills, including experience leading technical projects in software, automotive, or related industries.

• Demonstrated team leadership and collaboration abilities, with a track record of guiding cross-functional teams toward successful project outcomes.

• Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex technical information, identify risks, and propose data-driven solutions.

• Clear and professional communication skills, with fluent Korean and English, and the ability to work effectively with international stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are beneficial.

• Strong organizational and inter-personal skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfort with on-site work in Costa Mesa, CA, and collaboration across different time zones.

Preferred

• Direct coding and AI automation experience in software development and operation

• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or other project management tools.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience in automotive technology, connected vehicles, mobility, or enterprise IT projects.

• Ability to read technical documentation and communicate technical concepts clearly.
