About The Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to help design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand user and business needs and turn them into dependable technical solutions. You will contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from evaluating requirements and proposing an approach to releasing improvements and monitoring their performance. The ideal candidate is comfortable working through complex problems, communicating trade-offs, and balancing delivery needs with code quality, security, and maintainability. This position may involve both independent project work and shared ownership of team deliverables.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered. Candidates should have experience building or supporting software applications and a solid understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented or functional design principles. Familiarity with one or more languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or Go is valuable. Experience with version control, automated testing, code review, APIs, and relational or NoSQL databases is expected. You should be able to investigate issues methodically, explain technical concepts clearly, and work productively with colleagues across disciplines. Experience with cloud platforms, containers, continuous integration and delivery, or Agile practices is an advantage. We also value curiosity, accountability, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, and maintain readable, efficient, and secure software that meets agreed requirements. Work with product and technical partners to clarify user needs, assess feasibility, estimate effort, and break projects into manageable deliverables. Participate in technical discussions and contribute to design decisions that support scalability, reliability, accessibility, and long-term maintainability. Write unit, integration, and other appropriate tests, and use review feedback to strengthen code quality. Diagnose defects and performance issues, identify root causes, and deliver fixes with suitable safeguards. Document important technical decisions, application behavior, and operational procedures so that knowledge is accessible to the team. Support deployments and production services, respond to incidents when required, and look for opportunities to improve monitoring, performance, and developer workflows. Share knowledge, participate constructively in code reviews, and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies in a timely manner.
