You will contribute to platform modernization, process automation, and ongoing service improvements. The ideal candidate brings strong ServiceNow development experience, a practical understanding of IT service management (ITSM), and the ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile environment. Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered. A ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required; Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is preferred.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, AngularJS, and other web technologies used with ServiceNow is expected, along with experience in a programming language such as Java, Python, or C++. Candidates should understand REST and SOAP APIs, web services, Agile Scrum, and the software development lifecycle. Experience with post-MVP enhancements, including configuration, development, testing, deployment, and technical documentation, is important. Successful candidates demonstrate sound analytical and problem-solving skills, clear communication, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, customize, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, forms, and user interfaces that meet business and operational needs. Gather and document functional and technical requirements with stakeholders, then recommend solutions to address system deficiencies, process inefficiencies, and technical challenges. Build and maintain scalable, reliable, reusable solutions that follow ServiceNow design patterns and development standards. Configure and support development, testing, staging, sandbox, and production environments, and help establish repeatable development, deployment, and release processes.
Collaborate with administrators and technical teams to implement platform enhancements, resolve issues, and manage configuration changes. Develop integrations with enterprise platforms and applications, provide production support and end-user assistance, and apply UI/UX practices to improve usability. Participate in Agile ceremonies and coordinate with Scrum Masters, business stakeholders, and IT teams to deliver work that meets project objectives. Use version control and CI/CD practices throughout the development lifecycle. Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance when needed, and keep system configurations, development artifacts, and technical documentation current. Stay informed about ServiceNow capabilities and industry practices, and take on additional duties or special projects as assigned.
