About the Opportunity

Our client is an early-stage technology company transforming how real estate owners and construction teams capture, understand, and track progress on active projects. Its platform combines visual data with AI to give customers greater visibility into what’s happening onsite.

The team is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to own and evolve the mobile experience at the center of its data collection process. This is an opportunity to build software that connects directly with physical hardware and supports complex, real-world workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain native iOS features using Swift and UIKit.

• Own key parts of the mobile experience, including camera integrations, capture workflows, and media uploads.

• Integrate with 360-degree cameras and troubleshoot interactions between hardware and the mobile app.

• Develop reliable networking and upload functionality for large volumes of visual data.

• Partner with backend engineers to integrate APIs and improve end-to-end performance.

• Work closely with product and design to turn customer needs into intuitive mobile experiences.

• Take features from technical planning through implementation, testing, release, and ongoing improvement.

What You Bring

• 6+ years of professional iOS engineering experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with Swift and UIKit.

• Experience building, shipping, and maintaining production iOS applications.

• Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, networking, and asynchronous operations.

• Experience working in an early-stage startup with broad ownership and evolving priorities.

• Strong debugging skills and attention to application reliability and performance.

• Ability to collaborate onsite in Midtown Manhattan 3–4 days per week.

Nice to Have

• Camera, video, or other media-intensive application experience.

• Experience integrating mobile applications with external hardware or connected devices.

• Experience with large file uploads, background transfers, or unreliable network conditions.

• Familiarity with construction technology, computer vision, or visual data platforms.
