About The Role

The company is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to help shape its mobile experience and deliver high-quality applications for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, with opportunities to contribute to desktop app components. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering colleagues to turn customer and business needs into reliable, polished features. This role spans the full development lifecycle, from technical planning and implementation through testing, release, monitoring, and ongoing improvement. You will also contribute to architecture decisions, development practices, and production support as the company grows its connected TV offering. This is a fully remote position open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

You bring at least four years of professional iOS development experience and a track record of building and shipping high-quality applications. You have strong proficiency in Swift, modern iOS APIs, and Apple development tools such as Xcode and Instruments. You are comfortable working in a multi-developer environment and understand the processes involved in creating, submitting, and deploying App Store builds. Experience integrating REST, JSON-RPC, gRPC, or WebSocket APIs to create extensible, data-driven applications is important. You understand monitoring and alerting, code coverage, automated testing, and integration testing. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines are essential. Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform or another shared-code architecture, component libraries, SDK-style modular systems, or shared application frameworks is an advantage. Familiarity with tvOS, focus-based navigation, remote interactions, AVKit, AVFoundation, and media playback optimization is especially valuable.

Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and maintain robust iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI. Partner with product managers and designers to deliver features efficiently and accurately, translating Figma designs into polished interfaces and creating custom UI components where needed. Build reusable, scalable components that can support experiences across Apple devices and contribute to tvOS features. Work with focus-based navigation, remote controls, and Apple media frameworks to create intuitive television experiences. Diagnose bugs, troubleshoot production issues, and improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability. Own work throughout the iOS development lifecycle, from concept and implementation to App Store release and ongoing maintenance. Integrate with GitHub Actions and contribute to CI/CD and continuous delivery practices. Participate in on-call rotation and incident management, helping maintain dependable production systems and a smooth viewer experience.
