With approximately $73 million in funding, they're looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Platform & Infrastructure who loves building systems, solving hard infrastructure problems, and owning the engineering behind products that actually ship.
Why You Will Be Excited About This Role
• This isn't a role where you'll simply keep Kubernetes clusters running. You'll build the software and platforms that make everything work.
• Solve difficult challenges involving distributed systems, cloud orchestration, enterprise deployments, and infrastructure automation.
• Build infrastructure that enables sophisticated AI systems to operate securely inside enterprise environments.
• Get hands-on with architecture, development, and technical decisions that shape the platform's future.
• See the direct impact of your engineering work on products serving major industrial enterprises.
Why You Will Like Working Here
• A startup environment where engineers are trusted to own problems from architecture through production.
• Approximately $73 million in funding supporting an ambitious technical vision.
• Complex, meaningful engineering challenges rather than endless maintenance work.
• Small-team dynamics, technical autonomy, and the opportunity to shape foundational infrastructure.
• A remote-first working arrangement with regular opportunities for in-person collaboration.
What You Will Be Working On
• Build and scale cloud-native infrastructure powered by Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Write production software for deployment orchestration, distributed infrastructure services, and platform automation.
• Develop systems that manage infrastructure provisioning, deployment lifecycles, and cloud environments.
• Engineer deployment capabilities that work across enterprise infrastructure and customer-managed environments.
• Tackle difficult reliability, networking, security, scalability, and systems integration challenges.
• Help define how the platform evolves as the company grows.
What Type of Person Will Be Successful
• You're a software engineer who builds infrastructure, not someone who only operates it.
• You've designed, developed, and shipped meaningful platform engineering or distributed systems software.
• You understand Kubernetes and cloud-native architecture beyond basic deployment and configuration.
• You're comfortable developing infrastructure automation, orchestration software, and scalable backend systems.
• You enjoy working with autonomy, navigating ambiguity, and figuring things out without a large support structure.
• You have the engineering depth to solve complex technical problems and the adaptability to thrive in a startup.
• Location & Logistics: Remote anywhere in the United States or Canada, with approximately one week in the San Francisco Bay Area every six weeks. No visa sponsorship.
