About the Role

With a 75-year history and growing momentum in rare disease research and treatment, MGFA offers a unique environment to develop impactful campaigns, engage diverse audiences, and collaborate with partners across the healthcare landscape.
Working closely with the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing & Brand, you'll help turn marketing strategy into compelling campaigns, communications, and digital experiences that engage audiences and advance MGFA's mission. This is a hands-on role with room to contribute ideas, shape execution, and take ownership of projects.
You'll also work with a Digital Marketing Coordinator who will support campaign and content execution, while collaborating with colleagues and external partners across the organization. You'll help guide the coordinator's day-to-day work and contribute to their professional development as part of a small, collaborative team.
What You'll Do

• Turn marketing strategies into coordinated, actionable campaigns and initiatives.
• Manage day-to-day execution across email, social media, paid digital media, and website channels.
• Develop campaign timelines, coordinate deliverables, and keep projects moving.
• Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to bring campaigns to life.
• Monitor campaign results and continually look for opportunities to improve performance.
Email Marketing
• Manage email marketing campaigns, from audience segmentation and content development through production, testing, deployment, and reporting.
• Develop and optimize email templates, messaging, and engagement strategies.
• Build and refine automated email journeys and sequential communications to improve audience engagement.
• Work with CRM and email platforms to support effective targeting, personalization, and conversion.
Content Creation
• Write, edit, and develop engaging content for campaigns, websites, email, social media, and other communications.
• Help shape campaign messaging and creative approaches while maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
• Produce and adapt marketing materials within established brand guidelines and campaign creative systems, using tools such as Canva.
• Coordinate content assignments and production with the Digital Marketing Coordinator and external creative partners.
Website Management
• Manage and improve website content, user experience, and conversion opportunities.
• Help improve how audiences discover and engage with MGFA's content through search engines, AI-powered tools, and emerging digital platforms.
• Work with internal and external partners on website enhancements and digital initiatives.
• Help ensure digital communications are accessible, intuitive, and effective across devices and platforms.
Social Media & Paid Digital Marketing
• Manage social media publishing, content distribution, and day-to-day channel execution.
• Plan, execute, and optimize paid digital campaigns across platforms such as Meta and Google.
• Evaluate audience engagement and identify opportunities to improve organic and paid performance.
Analytics & Optimization
• Track and evaluate performance across website, email, social media, and digital campaigns.
• Use tools such as Google Analytics and platform reporting dashboards to turn data into actionable insights.
• Develop clear, useful campaign reporting for internal teams and external partners.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and digital processes.
