This hands-on role combines content strategy, copywriting, social media management, multimedia content coordination, and project management. The manager creates content that communicates the franchise opportunity, highlights owner success stories, and showcases Cruise Planners’ technology, training, marketing, and support.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer, creative storyteller, and organized project manager who can plan, produce, publish, and measure content across social media, websites, blogs, email, video, and webinars. The role works closely with franchise owners, executives, internal teams, and industry partners to develop authentic content that supports recruitment.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute an integrated content marketing strategy focused on franchise recruitment, brand awareness, audience engagement, and qualified lead generation.
• Manage the content calendar and publishing schedule across social media, blogs, website content, email campaigns, video, webinars, and other franchise marketing channels.
• Write, edit, and optimize compelling content that communicates the Cruise Planners franchise opportunity, including franchise-owner benefits, training, technology, marketing support, business ownership, and success stories.
• Manage Cruise Planners’ organic social media presence across relevant platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. Develop platform-specific content and creative concepts that engage prospective franchise owners, address common questions, and highlight the franchise-owner experience.
• Evaluate emerging social media platforms, features, and content formats for audience fit, reach, engagement, resource needs, and recruitment potential; recommend and test promising opportunities.
• Conduct outreach to current franchise owners to secure participation in testimonials, interviews, webinars, and other recruitment content. Develop conversation guides, interview questions, and scripts for owner testimonials, executive interviews, and partner-executive content, helping participants share authentic stories while reinforcing key messages.
• Coordinate video and photography production for franchise-owner stories, executive interviews, technology demonstrations, and short-form social content. Work with internal teams, creative partners, and vendors to deliver assets aligned with marketing objectives.
• Attend company conventions, trade shows, franchise events, industry conferences, and other relevant functions to capture content, conduct interviews, coordinate testimonials, and identify opportunities for real-time social coverage and future marketing assets. Travel and event participation may be required.
• Capture and coordinate behind-the-scenes footage, event highlights, executive perspectives, franchise-owner experiences, and other content that can be repurposed across marketing channels to extend the value of events.
• Repurpose existing content, photography, video, testimonials, and creative assets across channels to maintain a consistent publishing cadence and maximize the value of content production.
• Own blog strategy and execution, including topic development, writing, editing, publishing, and optimization. Create educational content that answers prospective franchise owners’ questions and supports their decision-making process.
• Collaborate with the SEO Marketing Manager to optimize website and blog content using keyword research, search intent, metadata, headings, and internal linking to improve organic visibility, engagement, and lead conversion.
• Develop email copy and content for franchise recruitment campaigns and automated nurture programs. Partner with the CRM and marketing automation team to align messaging with audience personas, prospect interests, and stages of the franchise development journey.
• Collaborate with paid media and digital marketing teams to develop ad copy, creative concepts, social content, and landing-page messaging that support franchise lead generation and campaign performance.
• Coordinate content opportunities with industry partners, executives, and other stakeholders to highlight the Cruise Planners network, technology, resources, and franchise-owner value proposition.
• Maintain consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual standards across all content while adapting execution to each platform and audience.
• Manage content projects from brief through delivery, including timelines, assignments, stakeholder communication, creative reviews, approvals, asset organization, and publishing. Use Trello, Jira, Basecamp, or similar tools to track priorities, dependencies, deliverables, and deadlines; maintain project boards, provide status updates, and resolve bottlenecks.
• Work cross-functionally with franchise development, technology, design, digital marketing, public relations, and other internal teams to gather information, validate messaging, coordinate approvals, and deliver content aligned with business priorities.
• Track content performance across engagement, reach, website traffic, organic search, lead generation, and conversion. Use analytics and audience feedback to refine messaging, improve creative effectiveness, identify successful themes, and recommend ways to strengthen franchise recruitment.
• Stay current on social media trends, content formats, creator strategies, SEO and AI-assisted search, and emerging marketing tools. Recommend approaches that improve content production, efficiency, reach, and results.
