Senior Software Engineer (React.js) — Seattle, WA

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer – React.js with strong expertise in developing scalable, high-performance, and responsive web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, modern frontend frameworks, and API integrations, along with a solid understanding of software engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, responsive web applications using React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Build reusable UI components and implement modern frontend architectures.

• Develop and optimize application state management using Redux, Redux Toolkit, or Context API.

• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Collaborate with backend engineers, UX/UI designers, product managers, and QA teams.

• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.

• Implement unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile development activities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on React.js expertise.

• Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Strong understanding of React Hooks, functional components, and component lifecycle.

• Experience with Redux, Redux Toolkit, or other state management libraries.

• Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON.

• Experience with responsive web design and modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or Bootstrap.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization and debugging.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Next.js and server-side rendering (SSR).

• Familiarity with GraphQL and WebSockets.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Knowledge of frontend security, accessibility (WCAG), and web performance optimization.

• Experience with micro-frontend architecture.

• Exposure to Node.js and backend development.
