About the Opportunity:

The SOFTWARE ENGINEER, CDP - PAYMENT ACCEPTANCE is responsible for developing and maintaining the stablecoin payment platform that powers merchant transactions and onchain settlements. This role involves full-stack development, contributing critical features that enhance the organization's payment processing capabilities and support its mission to improve financial inclusivity and reliability in digital commerce.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver end-to-end features across backend Go services and React/Next.js frontend components, including APIs, database migrations, and client integrations

• Develop and optimize the buyer checkout user interface focusing on conversion, accessibility, and performance

• Implement resilient payment workflows for onchain settlement, refunds, and reconciliation using Temporal and PostgreSQL

• Monitor and maintain system observability with structured logs, metrics, and tracing; participate in on-call rotations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate payment acceptance into the broader developer platform

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering with Go and TypeScript/React

• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization

• Skilled in designing APIs (protobuf/gRPC, REST) and implementing observability tools (Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or similar)

• Experience with durable workflow systems like Temporal or blockchain payment technologies

• Strong written communication skills for design documentation and operational materials

• Demonstrated responsible use of generative AI tools with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency and output quality

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Annual base salary range: $152,405—$179,300 USD, excluding equity and bonus
