ABOUT sZCAu
22Q38 is building the first AI fashion accessory for your mind — a necklace or bracelet that privately listens only to the wearer to enable proactive journaling, emotion tracking, and life coaching. Think Oura Ring for your Mind.
Backed by Lightspeed and South Park Commons, recognized at CES within 90 days of founding, and launching in the U.S. this fall. Co-founders bring backgrounds from Meta Reality Labs (Quest, Ray-Ban glasses) and fashion industry.
THE ROLE
22Q38 is a piece of jewelry people wear every day to better understand their own lives. It’s a deeply personal product, and we want the way we show up on social to feel just as personal. We’re looking for someone to shape our voice, care for our channels, and build real relationships with the people who love what we’re creating.
You’ll set the strategy for how 22Q38 shows up on social, and you’ll be the one writing the posts, replying in the comments, and DMing our earliest fans. You’ll own building a community from the ground up, in a category that doesn’t exist yet. This is the right role if you love the craft of social and community, you’re happiest when you’re close to the work, and you want to be the person who defines how a brand sounds rather than inheriting someone else’s playbook. This role will report to the Head of Marketing.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
• Our voice and social strategy. Define how 22Q38 sounds, which platforms we’re on and why, and what success looks like beyond follower counts.
• The channels, day to day. Plan the calendar, write and make content, and work with freelancers, photographers, and creators. You’re the one posting and replying, not a layer above the person who does.
• Community from zero. Build TugFZ’b community on social from the ground up. Turn early customers into superfans, find the people who wear 22Q38 every day, and give them a reason to tell their friends.
• The voice of the customer, inside the company. Bring what you hear in comments, DMs, and the community back to Product, Hardware, and Growth. You’ll often be the first to know what people love and what’s broken.
• Creator partnerships. Work in close partnership with our influencer partner to make sure creator work feels true to the brand, and turn the best creator content into the best of our feed.
• Product seeding and unboxing. Own how product gets into creators’ hands: packing, shipping, and tracking sendouts with our influencer partner, then making sure each one turns into content. Help shape the unboxing experience, and capture it for our own channels.
• Protect the brand while you grow it. We sell something people wear on their body every day, built around their inner life. Trend-chasing, engagement bait, and anything that feels cheap or invasive are how this positioning dies. You’ll know what not to post.
• Measure what matters. Track community growth, engagement, sentiment, and how social drives purchase and retention. Share what’s working every week, and change course when it isn’t.
• Response and escalation. Set how we respond on social, including customer support issues and hard moments, together with our support and ops teams.
You’ll Be Successful If You
• Create a 22Q38 voice people know and trust.
• Build a community of early customers who feel like insiders and bring their friends.
• Help bring creator content to life in a way that makes the product look as good as it feels to wear.
• Grow the brand in a way that deepens the connection people feel with 22Q38.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Skills & Experience
• 4-6 years in social and/or community at a consumer brand, including at least one voice or community you built rather than inherited.
• Hands-on mastery of Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, with working knowledge of YouTube, X, and Reddit.
• Experience running or working closely on a creator or influencer program.
• Writing and taste. You’re a strong writer with a sharp eye. You can tell the difference between a post that performs and a post that cheapens the brand, and you won’t ship the second one.
• Comfort with numbers: you can explain why a post worked, not just report that it did.
• Fluent with AI tools to move faster on drafts, research, and reporting, while keeping the voice and judgment human.
• Low ego, high urgency, founder level ownership. Set strategy Monday, film content Tuesday, run a community event Wednesday, dig into what’s working Thursday.
Bonus Qualifications
• You’ve launched a physical consumer product on social, with real launch dates on the line.
• Background in fashion, beauty, jewelry, or premium wellness.
• You’re comfortable on camera.
• You already journal, reflect, or otherwise pay close attention to your own life.
COMPENSATION
• Base salary: 150K-180K, based on experience
• Meaningful early stage equity
• Medical, dental, and vision
• Flexible time off, in person in SF with the team 3 days a week
