ONSITE Sr. Embedded C/C++ RUST Software Engineers ONSITE in the greater Dayton, OH area

***MUST have an active SECRET (or higher level) DoD clearance***

PROJECT SCOPE:

• OOP experience in C/C++ and Rust.

• Experience developing, debugging, testing, and maintaining software.

• Experience with object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

• Experience with Git, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and automated build tools.

• Experience developing or maintaining software in Rust.

• Rust experience with ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, traits, error handling, concurrency, testing, and C/C++ interoperability.

• Embedded software, real-time systems, Linux, networking, device drivers, or platform software experience.

• Experience integrating encryption, key management, digital signatures, certificates, cryptographic libraries, hardware security modules, or secure communications protocols into production software.

• HAIPE implementation or integration experience.

• Secure software development experience, including secure code review, static analysis, threat modeling, vulnerability remediation, and DevSecOps.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current Secret DoD Clearance

• MSCS/BSCS Degree in Computer Science or related

• At least 5+ years of OOD/OOP experience developing embedded apps, data structures & algorithms using C/C++ and Rust

• Embedded platforms & systems integration experience

• Experience with DevSecOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or comparable CI/CD tooling.

HIGHLY PREFERRED:

• Cryptographic/Cryptography experience

• Experience integrating AI/ML models into software products, deploying models, monitoring model performance, or securing AI-enabled systems.

• Industries: Aerospace, Avionics, DoD, Federal Gov’t, DoJ, DoE, etc.
