Game Developer | Remote — APJ

Position: Solar2D Game Developer

Type: Contract

Compensation: $70 - $130/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D games using Solar2D

• Work with Lua scripting for animations and UI elements

• Develop and improve player controls and collision detection

• Debug issues and optimize overall game performance

• Complete advanced Solar2D tasks and explain workflows clearly

• Create clear instructions for game development tasks

• Support AI training projects with game development expertise

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Solar2D (Corona SDK)

• Good knowledge of Lua programming and 2D game development

• Experience with game mechanics, animations, and debugging

• Access to Solar2D and ability to record screen tasks

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

• Ability to explain technical workflows clearly

• Previous experience in game development projects
