About the Company

Executive Media Network produces branded podcasts for B2B companies. Our shows feature conversations with executives and industry leaders across technology, finance, HR, and other business sectors.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced, growth-minded Content Producer & Editor to own the full content funnel: from raw recording through finished episodes, short-form clips and reels, publication, and audience growth. You'll work across multiple shows, maintain each show's standards, and deliver complete episode packages with minimal oversight. You'll combine hands-on audio and video editing with content creation, short-form and reels production, quality control, publishing, and audience growth. You should be comfortable making editorial decisions, managing deadlines, communicating clearly, and checking your own work before handing it off. This is a builder's seat. To start, you will personally own the entire funnel for our shows: editing the episode, cutting the clips and reels, designing the assets, writing the copy, publishing everywhere, and driving the growth of each show. As we scale, you will hire and lead a team of editors who take over the episode editing, so you can focus on content strategy, short-form, and growth. We're looking for someone who wants that path. The standard is simple: every content package should "wow" the guest and the client. Success means every episode sounds professional, looks polished, includes the right assets, reaches the correct platforms on schedule, the guest and client are delighted with the experience, and the shows you run grow their audience month over month.

Responsibilities

Audio and video production

• Review recordings, select the correct takes, and edit full podcast episodes.

• Remove false starts, distracting pauses, technical issues, and unnecessary repetition while preserving natural conversation and meaning.

• Clean and balance audio, address noise and inconsistent levels, and maintain synchronization.

• Apply show-specific intros, outros, music, branding, layouts, and graphics.

• We prefer experience using Riverside.

Short-form, reels, and audience growth

• Cut compelling short-form clips and reels for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts with accurate captions, strong hooks in the first three seconds, thoughtful framing, and clean beginnings and endings.

• Identify the moments in each interview with the highest potential to spread, and shape them for each platform's format and audience.

• Own the growth plan for each show: titles, thumbnails, posting cadence, hooks, and distribution, with a clear view of what drives downloads, followers, and watch time.

• Track performance (downloads, views, retention, follows, engagement), run tests on what works, and feed the learnings back into how we cut, title, and distribute.

Design and episode packaging

• Use Figma or another solution to create and update episode covers, thumbnails, quote graphics, and other branded assets.

• Maintain consistent typography, spacing, imagery, and branding across each show.

• Select strong moments and accurate quotes from interviews.

• Prepare and refine episode titles, descriptions, show notes, chapters, transcripts, articles, and social post copy.

• Verify guest names, titles, companies, links, and other details throughout the package.

Publishing and production management

• Prepare, upload, and schedule approved content across podcast hosting platforms, YouTube, social channels, and our content review system.

• Keep files, folders, project versions, and production records organized and current.

• Manage multiple episodes at different production stages and flag missing materials or deadline risks early.

• Coordinate feedback and revisions with the team, hosts, guests, and clients as needed.

• Carry changes through every affected asset and platform, then verify the final versions.

Client and guest experience

• Help manage the relationship with clients and guests through the production process so that every touchpoint, from scheduling and prep through delivery, feels organized, professional, and easy.

• Deliver content packages that make guests proud to share them and make clients see clear value from the show.

• Communicate timelines, deliverables, and revisions clearly, and respond to client and guest requests promptly.

• Treat "wow" as the bar: if a package is merely fine, it isn't finished.

Quality control

• Watch and listen to finished work before submitting it.

• Catch audio problems, awkward cuts, caption errors, incorrect graphics, missing assets, and broken links.

• Confirm the correct episode, guest, branding, metadata, and release date appear everywhere.

• Take responsibility for resolving issues and delivering a complete, review-ready package.

Team leadership (as we grow)

• Document the editing and packaging process so it can be handed to others.

• Help hire, onboard, and manage a team of editors, and hold their work to the show standards you set.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated experience producing and editing professional podcasts, including both audio and video.

• A track record of growing an audience: you have built a podcast to 50,000+ downloads, or you can clearly explain the formula for getting there and show work that proves you've applied it.

• Experience driving virality in content: clips, reels, or posts that reached well beyond their starting audience, and a clear understanding of why they did.

• Strong reels and short-form instincts: hooks, pacing, captions, and native formatting for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

• Highly proficient written and spoken English. You will write titles, show notes, captions, and social copy that go out under our clients' names, so your English must be native-level or equivalent.

• Hands-on proficiency with Figma and Riverside
