Lead Video Editor – Generative AI

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative, technically skilled Lead Video Editor to join a growing production team. This individual will lead post-production editing across documentary, branded content, and social media projects while helping integrate generative AI into the team's creative production workflows.

The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on editor who has successfully incorporated AI-generated imagery, video, and voice into real-world production projects. We're open to mid-level editors ready to take the next step in their careers!

Key Responsibilities

• Lead editing on mid-size and large-scale projects, from rough assemblies through polished, client-ready final cuts.

• Edit documentary, branded, and social content, including multi-format deliverables and platform-specific cutdowns.

• Leverage generative AI tools to create and enhance imagery, video, and voice assets within production workflows.

• Help develop and refine in-house AI content production capabilities.

• Collaborate closely with the Post Producer, Assistant Editor, and creative teams to deliver high-quality content.

• Manage multiple editing projects while maintaining creative consistency, technical quality, and deadlines.

• Incorporate creative feedback and revisions throughout the post-production process.

Qualifications

• Professional video editing experience across documentary, branded content, digital, or social media.

• Strong, hands-on generative AI experience is required, specifically using AI image, video, and voice tools in actual production environments.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.

• Strong storytelling instincts, pacing, and visual editing skills.

• Experience managing projects from initial assembly through final delivery.

• Ability to collaborate across creative and production teams.

• Color grading, sound design, and Adobe After Effects experience are a plus.

• Experience with pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industries, including MLR review processes, is a plus.
