Position Title: UX Developer

Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA preferred, Strongsville, OH secondary

Acceptable Time Zone: EST only

Days of the Week: Monday – Friday

Working Hours: Flexible 8–9 AM start

Intended Length of Assignment: 12 Months Contract to hire

Reason for Open Position: Net new – increase business demand

Function of the Group

• The position is needed to help the principal developer handle defects and bugs found on the SharePoint site, build wireframes, and assist with the development of the Microsoft AI Foundry ChatBot (Generative AI).

Industry Background: Experience in AI work within a Microsoft or SharePoint environment would be a plus.

Team Dynamic: Working within a team of 10, additionally collaborating with content writers and publicists.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SharePoint Online sites, custom solutions, and modern web applications using React, Angular, or Vue.

• Build responsive, accessible user interfaces by translating UX/UI designs into production-ready JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS solutions.

• Integrate applications with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, SharePoint, and other enterprise data sources to deliver data-driven experiences.

• Develop AI-powered agents and copilots, including solutions that leverage SharePoint content for knowledge retrieval, search, and workflow automation.

• Collaborate with content writers, business analysts, content managers, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver features, and support Agile development processes.

Must-Have Technical Skills

SharePoint Online Development

• Build, customize, and manage SharePoint Online sites and solutions.

• Configure site architecture, navigation, permissions, and content management.

• Develop custom components and integrations using SPFx and Microsoft 365 technologies.

Single Page Application (SPA) Development

• Develop and maintain applications using React, Angular, or Vue.

• Create reusable components and scalable front-end architectures.

• Implement state management, routing, and authentication.

Advanced Front-End Development

• Expert-level JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Translate UI/UX prototypes into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces.

• Optimize accessibility, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.

API and Data Integration

• Consume and integrate REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, and web services.

• Work with JSON, asynchronous programming, and complex data models.

• Build secure, data-driven user experiences.

AI Agent Development

• Design and develop AI-powered agents with Copilot and/or Microsoft Foundry.

• Implement RAG, prompt engineering, and enterprise AI solutions.

• Integrate AI agents with Microsoft 365 and business systems.

SharePoint AI Solutions

• Develop AI agents that leverage SharePoint content and knowledge bases.

• Build solutions that provide intelligent search, summarization, and knowledge retrieval.
