About the Role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and user-focused UI/UX Designer to join our team in San Francisco, United States.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and accessible digital experiences for recruiters, candidates, and other platform users. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to transform user needs and business requirements into effective design solutions.

From conducting user research and creating wireframes to developing interactive prototypes and supporting product releases, you will contribute throughout the complete product design lifecycle.

The ideal candidate should have strong design thinking skills, hands-on experience with Figma, a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, and a portfolio demonstrating successful web or mobile design projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs, behaviors, and challenges.

• Translate research findings and business requirements into intuitive user experiences.

• Create user journeys, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.

• Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.

• Develop and maintain reusable components, design guidelines, and design systems using Figma.

• Collaborate with product managers to understand product goals, feature requirements, and user expectations.

• Work closely with software engineers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.

• Prepare detailed design handoffs, including layouts, interactions, components, and visual guidelines.

• Apply responsive design principles to deliver consistent experiences across different screen sizes and devices.

• Ensure designs follow accessibility standards and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

• Review implemented designs and provide feedback to maintain consistency and quality.

• Analyze user feedback, product analytics, and usability insights to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Continuously improve existing product features based on user behavior and performance data.

• Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, design technologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, product design, or a similar role.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating completed and successfully delivered web or mobile design projects.

• Proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, prototyping, and design systems.

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies.

• Hands-on experience creating wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.

• Knowledge of usability testing, user research, and information architecture.

• Understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first design principles.

• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders.

• Strong visual design skills, including typography, color theory, layout, and consistency.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
