Business Analyst — Evlo AI, Boston, MA

About The Role

The role sits at the intersection of data, systems, and go-to-market operations: translating business questions into analyses, dashboards, and process changes that drive revenue decisions.

The analyst works hands-on with Salesforce, SQL, and BI tooling to audit data quality, model pipeline and revenue metrics, and partner with sales, finance, and product teams to turn findings into operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Looker, Tableau, or Power BI covering pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and sales productivity

• Write and optimize SQL queries against the data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift) to answer ad hoc and recurring business questions

• Administer and configure Salesforce: manage objects, validation rules, and reporting to support evolving GTM workflows

• Define and track core RevOps metrics (conversion rates, deal velocity, ARR movement) and flag anomalies to leadership

• Partner with sales and finance on territory planning, quota setting, and commission models

• Document data definitions and business processes; drive adoption of standardized metrics across teams

• Evaluate and implement tooling (iPaaS, enrichment platforms, CPQ) to automate manual workflows

What We Are Looking For

• 3-6 years of experience in business analysis, revenue operations, or sales operations at a B2B SaaS or technology company

• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with at least one BI platform (Looker, Tableau, or Power BI)

• Practical Salesforce administration experience, including reporting and dashboard configuration

• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured analyses and actionable recommendations

• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting findings to senior stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (economics, statistics, engineering) or equivalent practical experience

• Bonus: Experience with dbt, Python or R for analysis, CPQ/Clari/Gong, and building commission or quota models
