About the Opportunity:

The MOBILE ENGINEER role is centered on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable mobile applications using React Native and Expo. This position plays a crucial part in delivering fast, reliable, and polished mobile experiences across iOS and Android platforms by collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams. The role significantly contributes to improving app performance and user engagement, impacting how creators and fans interact on the platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain mobile app features for optimal performance and user experience

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement functional mobile solutions

• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure application stability

• Identify and resolve performance issues to enhance app responsiveness and reliability

• Manage assigned features through development, testing, release, and maintenance phases

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions

• Stay updated with React Native and Expo advancements and suggest improvements

Requirements:

• Professional experience with React Native for cross-platform mobile app development

• Familiarity with Expo SDK and EAS workflows

• Proficiency in TypeScript with clean, maintainable coding practices

• Knowledge of React Native UI frameworks and styling tools such as NativeWind

• Understanding of mobile app performance fundamentals

• Experience integrating GraphQL or REST APIs

• Awareness of iOS and Android development specifics and third-party SDK integrations

• Ability to write unit and component tests; familiarity with end-to-end testing tools is a plus

• Detail-oriented with capability to implement designs accurately and handle platform-specific behaviors

• Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects and troubleshoot independently

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Base salary $150,000 to $160,000

• Annual bonus

• Equity
