Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong expertise in API Testing and Test Automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications and APIs. The role requires a blend of software development, quality engineering, and automation testing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.

• Develop and execute automated test scripts for RESTful and SOAP APIs.

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.

• Validate API requests, responses, authentication, headers, payloads, and error handling.

• Create automated test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies.

• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Create test documentation, test cases, and automation reports.
