About The Role
The role builds and maintains the native mobile applications that serve as the primary touchpoint for the product - covering the full iOS and Android stack, from UI implementation and offline data sync to deep linking, push infrastructure, and release engineering.
You will work in a small, senior mobile team with direct input into architecture decisions, shipping biweekly releases to a growing user base where app performance and stability are treated as product features, not afterthoughts.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and ship native features across iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose), maintaining parity across both platforms
• Own end-to-end feature delivery: technical design, implementation, testing, App Store / Play Store release, and post-launch monitoring
• Integrate with REST and GraphQL backend services, handling auth, caching, background sync, and graceful offline behavior
• Improve app performance and stability - reducing cold start times, memory footprint, and crash rates using Firebase Crashlytics and Xcode Instruments / Android Profiler
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile (Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions), including automated testing, signing, and phased rollouts
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and cross-functional planning with product, design, and backend teams
• Instrument and act on analytics and crash data to drive prioritization of reliability and UX improvements
What We Are Looking For
• 3–6 years of experience building and shipping production mobile applications to the App Store and/or Google Play
• Deep proficiency in Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin/Jetpack Compose, or both - with strong understanding of platform conventions and lifecycle management
• Experience consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and building resilient network layers (URLSession, Retrofit, OkHttp, or equivalent)
• Track record of owning releases end-to-end, including store submission, review processes, and hotfix workflows
• Solid grasp of mobile architecture patterns: MVVM, modularization, dependency injection (Hilt, Swinject, or similar)
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: experience with cross-platform tooling (React Native, Flutter) for internal tools, mobile security best practices, or contributing to open-source mobile libraries
