JMD is seeking a Senior Visualization Designer to join our award-winning creative studio and bring world-class packaging and product concepts to life through high-end 3D visualization, CGI animation, AI-generated imagery and photorealistic rendering.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the VP Creative and Founder to visualize premium beauty, fragrance, skincare, CPG and spirits designs with exceptional artistry and precision. You will lead visualization from concept to final execution, creating dynamic, lifelike imagery and motion that communicate design intent and innovation for client presentations, advertising and merchandising.

This role is ideal for a designer who merges creative intuition with technical mastery and deep fluency in AI-driven imagery tools, someone who understands light, form and material, moves fast with the best AI software available, and approaches every visualization as both a craft and a story.

Key Responsibilities

• Create stunning, photorealistic renderings and CGI animations that elevate JMD's creative output and showcase our design excellence in beauty and luxury packaging.

• Collaborate with the Creative Director, Industrial Design and Packaging teams to translate creative concepts into accurate, compelling visualizations.

• Lead the visualization process from concept through final render, ensuring fidelity to design intent, brand standards and production timelines.

• Apply expert knowledge of lighting, texturing and material simulation to achieve premium-quality results across glass, metal, plastic and other complex surfaces.

• Integrate CGI with live-action footage and create motion graphics or animated sequences for presentations and marketing content.

• Use expert-level knowledge of AI-driven imagery and video tools to rapidly generate and refine product renderings, animations and motion content, prioritizing speed by using the best available AI software for the job.

• Anticipate and resolve visualization challenges with innovative, cost-effective solutions that improve quality and workflow.

• Manage multiple concurrent projects, working with Project Managers to ensure accuracy, consistency and timely delivery.

• Stay ahead of trends in rendering, animation, AI and digital storytelling, bringing fresh techniques and inspiration to the team.

Skills & Expertise

• Proven expertise in CGI visualization, animation and rendering for packaging and product design.

• Deep understanding of materials, lighting and composition to achieve photorealistic imagery.

• Advanced proficiency in Cinema 4D, Blender, 3ds Max, KeyShot and Adobe Creative Cloud.

• Required: expanded, deep knowledge of AI-driven imagery and video tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, ChatGPT/Sora, Adobe Firefly) for generating and refining product renderings and video content quickly.

• Ability to produce motion graphics or 3D animation for storytelling and marketing.

• Strong artistic sensibility combined with exceptional technical precision and attention to detail.

• Highly organized, with excellent time management in a fast-paced environment.

• Confident communicator and presenter with a collaborative, solutions-driven approach.

• Deep appreciation for beauty, luxury and material craft.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, CGI, Animation or a related field.

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in a creative studio, agency or visualization environment, preferably within beauty, fashion, spirits or CPG.

• Expert-level understanding of 3D rendering workflows, including lighting, texturing and compositing.

• Demonstrated ability to create premium-quality digital imagery for advertising, merchandising and product visualization.

• Required: expanded, deep knowledge of AI tools for imagery creation, from product renderings through video, with the speed to execute using the best available AI software.

• A portfolio showcasing excellence in photorealistic rendering, animation and motion design.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $100k-$125k. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
