We are looking for a Senior Golang Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-performance backend systems supporting large-scale consumer applications.

You will work on business-critical services that demand high concurrency, low latency, data consistency, and production reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang (Go).

• Build and optimize high-concurrency microservices and distributed systems supporting consumer-facing applications.

• Develop reliable APIs and business workflows involving transactions, user activities, and real-time processing.

• Implement fault-tolerant mechanisms, including idempotency, retries, message queues, and failure recovery.

• Optimize database performance, SQL queries, indexing strategies, caching, and system throughput.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, race conditions, memory issues, and concurrency-related problems.

• Build and maintain asynchronous processing pipelines using technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems.

• Take ownership of production services, including monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and QA teams to deliver reliable features.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience developing and operating Golang backend services in production.

• Solid understanding of Go concurrency, including goroutines, channels, mutexes, context cancellation, and synchronization.

• Proven experience designing high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.

• Strong understanding of microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous processing.

• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL, including query optimization, indexing, and transaction management.

• Experience with Redis and message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NSQ.

• Understanding of distributed-system reliability, including retries, idempotency, message delivery guarantees, and data consistency.

• Experience investigating production performance issues and improving system scalability.

• Strong problem-solving skills, engineering ownership, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Good English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with gaming, fintech, payments, trading, e-commerce, or other high-traffic B2C platforms.

• Experience developing transaction-heavy systems such as wallets, orders, rewards, or payment processing.

• Familiarity with distributed transactions, Saga patterns, transactional outbox, and reconciliation workflows.

• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

• Experience with profiling tools, observability platforms, and production incident response.
