About the Opportunity:

The SOFTWARE ENGINEER - CRYPTO DATA FOUNDATIONS will develop and maintain distributed systems for real-time blockchain data ingestion, indexing, and querying. This role is critical for delivering reliable data services that empower various teams and developers, contributing directly to improving platform performance and adoption.

Responsibilities:

• Build and operate distributed systems for blockchain data ingestion and querying.

• Own projects including chain integrations, migrations, and data backfills.

• Collaborate with product and platform teams to define data contracts and develop supporting SDKs.

• Implement architectural and performance enhancements focused on system design principles.

• Ensure engineering quality through code reviews, testing, and use of AI tools.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software engineering with distributed or data systems.

• Strong understanding of systems design concepts such as partitioning and consistency.

• Proficiency in backend programming languages like Go or Python.

• Experience with technologies such as Kafka, gRPC, Redis, S3, ClickHouse, or MongoDB.

• Ability to clarify ambiguous problems into actionable designs with measurable results.

• Knowledge of blockchain or crypto data structures is advantageous.

• Responsible use of generative AI to enhance workflow efficiency and quality.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus): $152,405—$179,300 USD.

• Total compensation may include equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
