My client has asked us to assist in identifying a sharp, self-driven Full Stack Product Engineer. You'll own features from understanding the customer's workflow through architecture, implementation, deployment, and ongoing improvement. You'll work across user interfaces, backend services, databases, integrations, and production infrastructure, using AI coding agents throughout development and building agents into our products. No third parties, agencies or recruiters please.

What You'll Build

• Complete product workflows spanning intuitive interfaces, backend APIs, business logic, and data storage.

• AI agents that use tools and business systems to complete tasks, with clear permissions, human approval where appropriate, and reliable failure recovery.

• Data models, database migrations, authentication, and authorization that support secure, maintainable products.

• Third-party integrations and background jobs with appropriate retries, error handling, and operational visibility.

• Conversational interfaces, streaming experiences, and dashboards that make agent actions and results understandable to users.

• Production delivery workflows, automated tests, agent evaluations, and monitoring to improve quality, performance, and reliability.

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience shipping and maintaining production full-stack software, with ownership of substantial features from planning through deployment.

• Strong proficiency in React or a comparable modern frontend framework, plus a backend language and framework; experience designing, implementing, and integrating APIs.

• Practical experience with SQL, data modeling, migrations, query performance, authentication, and authorization.

• Hands-on use of AI coding agents across frontend, backend, testing, and deployment work. You can scope tasks, supply context and constraints, review generated changes, and validate behavior. You can explain, debug, and maintain all code you ship.

• Experience building agents with LLM APIs, tool calling, and workflow orchestration. You understand state, permissions, evaluation, failure recovery, and tradeoffs in latency, cost, and reliability.

• Product and architecture judgment: translate business needs into practical plans, define a useful first release, explain data flow and failure modes, and choose simpler solutions when they fit.

• A strong eye for UX and the ability to make complex workflows clear and usable.

• Ownership of quality through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, including critical workflows, integration failures, and agent behavior. Comfortable with Git, pull requests, and code reviews.

• Comfort deploying and debugging production software, using logs and monitoring to diagnose problems across the stack.

• Clear communication and independent execution in an async, remote-first team; willing to work across disciplines and surface risks early.

• Be prepared to walk through a production system or substantial feature you helped build: the user problem, architecture, tradeoffs, your contribution, how you used or built agents, and how you verified the result. Public code or a portfolio is welcome but not required.

Nice to Have

• Background building SaaS products or AI-powered business workflows.

• Experience with WebSockets, streaming interfaces, and design tools such as Figma.

Why My Client

• Build AI-powered products with direct influence on product and technical decisions.

• Small team with meaningful ownership and visibility.

• Full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

• Fully remote — NC/SC proximity a bonus, not a requirement.
